Why not try mixing “prayer” to your daily routine, you may find that is does wonders in combating stress, anxiety and fear. A simple prayer of “Gratitude” goes a long way in bringing about peace in our heart and life. As we all seek to do more, gain more and be more, the overload of this type of lifestyle can take its toll on our lives. I shared with you a few weeks back how I woke up one day and realized I lost my “Peace”. I was in such a mode of work and passion overload that life had to have one of my front teeth fall right out of my head in order for me to wake up and slow down.
When you are a professional speaker it is a heck of a thing to smile and look like a boxer who lost the fight!
It was a “Fire Alarm” that got my attention. Since then my peace has been restored (and my tooth too!) and Melinda and I make it a early morning habit before we do anything else to spend a little time in prayer and being thankful for our life and all the good things we are blessed with. We also say a prayer for you and over you that you would receive every blessing in life God has for you.
Many times the best way to speed up is to slow down! Take some time out from your stressful and busy day and just be good to yourself. Go get a foot massage, take in an afternoon movie, sleep in for once and enjoy life. Remember Prosperity without Peace is no prosperity at all.
Need more money? Try giving some away. To the natural mind that sounds like insanity yet it is a Universal Law that works. You plant a seed you reap a harvest. No one thinks a farmer is crazy because he uses this system. Over the past 34 years I have given my way out of financial jams into financial abundance on many occasions. In fact in 2004 I wrote a book about it where I highlight some of the wealthiest men on the earth like J.C. Penny, and John D. Rockefeller, and many others who went from broke to wealth using this system of giving. It worked for them, it’s worked for me, and it work for you too.
First and foremost let me wish all of you a very “Merry Christmas Eve”. Let this day be a day of reflection, gratitude, appreciation and giving from the heart. I will be the first one to agree that current culture has ruined much of the Christmas Season through the commercial aspects of gift giving. Gifts are now given out of guilt, compulsion and duty, rather than love, appreciation and good will. Although I am saddened by all the commercial aspects of giving, I love the gift giving aspect of life including that of Christmas. Gift giving is a great revealer of our financial future. It reveals our relationship with money and our relationship with anything; be it people or money determines out future outcomes.
Do you feel good about spending money? Most people love to buy things but don’t feel good about spending money. This comes from a fear of a lack of money flowing into your life and/or belief that money is hard to obtain and replace. Change your thinking to “I feel good about investing money in things I enjoy and desire and betters my present and future”.
Totally eliminate the word “Bill” from your vocabulary and exchange it for the word “investment”. Therefore you never will again pay a “bill”, you are making an investment that brings about instant and future gain. (The word “Bill” carries the negative energy of lack, fear, worry and a dragging weight of defeat). A small change that makes a big difference in your life!
Focus on the skill and art of making (earning) money and you will always feel good about spending (investing) it. The Art of earning money is this: “Share your life and love with everyone Freely No Charge, but your knowledge and skill sell it for Top Dollar and never take less for it!”
Remember, God’s continual Blessings are always resting on your life.
As we all gear up to make new goals, new dreams, and new ambitions for the New Year of 2014 here are 3 things to implement that will “Drastically Improve” every area of your life if you make a habit of practicing them:
1. Practice Reciprocity. Every time someone sends you a lead, helps you with information or does anything in the form that helps you personally and professionally, immediately seek ways to see how you can bless, help, support and benefit them. This will cause your personal and professional relationships to flourish.
2. Practice Giving without Expecting Anything Back (from that person). This is the exact opposite of receiving. Give without any strings attached or ulterior motives. When we give from this position we automatically put the law of the harvest into motion and God through His Universal Law of Life will reward us back with more than we gave.
3. Add 12 New Quality People to your Network. Our network creates our net-worth. Seek to upgrade your business and professional relationships and eliminate the ones that have a negative impact on you. Keep in mind the only way you attract quality people into your life is by you first becoming a “Quality” person. Always invest in you to become the best you can be. As my legendary and late Mentor Jim Rohn taught me many years ago…”If you want to attract quality people you must first become attractive”. Become a person where people pay you high dollars to just to be around you and absorb your wisdom, knowledge and success.
Have a Blessed Week-End, see you on Monday…(via email).
